Autumn Makeup

Autumn is officially in full swing so I thought I would share with you the product's that I will be using other the next few month's. I tend to find myself reaching for different products and shades this time of the year. I think Autumn is a great time to play with those darker, berry, golden shades so come these colder month's I opt for a metallic eye which is absolutely stunning along with a medium to full coverage foundation to hide any redness.
I like to go for a medium to full coverage around this time of year. As usual I will use my Illamasqua Primer along with my new found love, the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation which is such a lovely formula and can be built up for a full coverage look. The finish is absolutely stunning. It's not at all cakey, it sit's nicely on my skin and gives such a flawless finish. I found this foundation to last absolutely all day long, I think I may have found my all time favourite foundation.
Eye shadow has got to be my favourite part of my Autumn makeup routine. I love metallic, berry and brown shades for Autumn. This is the Chanel Les 4 Ombres Kaska Beige Palette which is absolutely stunning. I tend to go for a more of a brown, metallic eye in the day and mix it up a little at night with a deeper berry toned eye. I love Chanel eye shadows they are super pigmented, I also really like that they last all day long without smudging and they don't crease at all.
I'm not much of a lipstick kind of girl as I find it hard to find shades that suit me, I tend to stick to a minimal nude lip. I was recently sent a Lord & Berry Twistick in my Love Me Beauty Box, it's a gorgeous berry shade which looks super dark but once applied lightly it gives such a lovely berry toned autumnal lip. I'm always changing up my nail varnish but around Autumn I like to match my eyes or lip colour to my nails so I tend to stick with those berry, dark purple or browny shades. I absolutely love this time of the year, I officially have all of my knitted cardigans, scarfs and ankle boots out at the ready.

You can save 20% on your first Love Me Beauty box by using my promo code emmal at the checkout. So there we have a few of my most used makeup products through Autumn, I hope you enjoyed this style post. Let me know what type of products you love to use in Autumn?

    1. I had the same issue but if you lightly dap on the lipstick and then blend it in the colour isn't so intense, it's a lovely shade for Autumn x
