A Cosy Winter's Evening

I have always loved those cosy Winter evenings, the ones where you snuggle up with a blanket and a hot chocolate with your favourite candle burning and watching some Christmas films or doing some online shopping. I love having a pamper evening then getting all cosy and snug and relaxing for the rest of the night, so I thought I would share with you what I usually get up to on a cosy Winter's evening and a few of my cosy night essentials. Also how could I not share my new Christmas bedding with you all it matches my room décor and theme perfectly, it has cute little penguins, polar bears and reindeers on it, I'm obsessed!!!

This month I have been obsessed with Yankee Candles Christmas Eve Candle which smells like Christmas morning in a jar, my room smells amazing when I burn this candle and I'm already on my second jar. I will then run myself a lovely bubble bath and unwind flicking through a magazine. I recently picked up the Reiss gift set from Boots and I'm obsessed with all of the products especially the Reiss Body Cleanser, my skin is left feeling super soft to touch and it really moisturises my skin at the same time which I love. Another all time favourite product of mine is the &Other Stories Floral Memento Body Scrub which smells incredible. It's a lovely smoothing sugar scrub that polishes the skin and once I've used this my skin feels so soft and silky.
I love using a luxurious Shampoo and Conditioner on my Pamper night/Cosy evenings in just to give my hair that extra bit of tlc. I have recently been using the Oribe Beautiful Colour Shampoo and Conditioner which is designed to bring out the shimmering brilliance of your colour while nourishing and protecting the life of colour treated hair. Oribe is a luxury brand to me and I am obsessed with their Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner so I knew I was going to love this range also, my hair feel's amazing once I've used these two products together. The Oribe Beautiful Color Shampoo and Conditioner leaves me with hair that feels as good as it does after having a hair mask on it for several hours, it feels unbelievably silky soft and looks and feels a lot healthier.

So after my little pamper in the bath it's time to moisturise my body, as I mentioned I am obsessed with the Reiss Body Cleanser well I have also been loving their Body Souffle. I use the Reiss Body Souffle all over my arms and legs and it moisturises my skin really well while leaving it super smooth and soft to touch, it's a lovely light body soufflé so it sinks into the skin instantly which I love. Cosy night's in for me are all about applying a face mask and giving my skin that extra bit of tlc it may need in the Winter, I am currently obsessed with the Origins Original Skin Retexturing Mask with Rose Clay which gently cleans the skin, refines the skin's texture and reduces the appearance of pores while leaving your skin with a lovely glow. I love the look and feel of my skin after I use this mask, I will be doing a full blog post on the Origins Rose Clay face mask so keep an eye out for that.
I will then cleanse my skin to insure all that extra dirt is removed. I am currently loving the Super Facialist Micellar Cleasning Water and also the Eve Lom Cleansing Balm. The Superfacialist Micellar Cleansing Water is amazing at removing that extra dirt left on your face. The Eve Lom Cleasning balm is a luxurious product not only does it provide a deep clean and plenty of moisture, it also evens skin tone and leaves my skin feeling luxuriously looked after. Next up is a new brand I recently discovered called Sesha I have recently been using and loving the Sesha Advanced Eye Restore which is amazing for dark circles, it minimizes the appearance of lines around the eyes, reduces the look of wrinkles while decreasing dark circles under the eyes. Finally the amazing Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, this stuff is hand's down my favourite product ever I've lost count on how many of these I have gone through I love it that much. The Elizabeth Ardern Eight Hour Cream helps to soothe, restore, soften and protect chapped, dry or mildly irritated skin. My lips tend to chap in the colder months and this stuff is an absolute life saver and is a bed side essential of mine.
I love those evenings where I have fresh clean bed sheets, I recently got some new Christmas bedding and it is so cute and matches my room theme perfectly. I also love a cosy blanket to snuggle up in with my hot chocolate. Hot drinks are a must have on these cold evenings and I'm currently obsessed with adding candy canes to my hot chocolates, they look super festive but more importantly it tastes amazing! So once I've had my little pamper session I will then snuggle up in bed put on a Christmas film which will no doubt be Home Alone and do a bit of online browsing which mostly turns into purchasing a basket full of things I really don't need but will buy regardless hehe. I of course will be joined by my beautiful fury baby, this is Angel and he's basically my shadow he follows me everywhere, he may look grumpy but he is the nicest kitty you will ever meet and I just love him hehe, he is also loving my new Christmas bedding and blanket as much as me. So that's it for my cosy Winter's evening, I hope you enjoyed this style post and be sure to let me know what you get up to on these cold Winter evenings.
What are your essentials for a cosy Winter's night in?
