Mince Pies are one of my all time favourite Christmas treats, these are super easy and fun to make for a girly night in or a fun little activity you can do with the family. Christmas is all about those yummy treats and this is a recipe you definitely need to try. These Crumbly, healthy apple and orange tarts are a Christmas classic, be sure to let me know and tag me in any photos if you do give this recipe a go!

- Peel the orange and apples cutting them into small cubes.
- Place the apples and oranges into a saucepan along with the orange juice, raisins, maple syrup and cinnamon. Leave this on low heat until the fruit if softened.
- Preheat the oven to 200c and then lightly grease a cupcake tray.
- On a lightly floured surface roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut out 12 round pieces, be sure to make sure these are slightly larger than the tray. Using a star cookie cutter cut out 12 star shaped pieces of pastry for the top of the tarts.
- Place the pastry into the cupcake tray and add a heaped teaspoon of the filling and top it with a pastry star.
- Place the tarts in the oven for around 15 minutes until golden brown. Once the tarts have cooled down sprinkle them with some delicious powdered icing sugar.
